OVERVIEW

These terms govern your use of oliveandmuse.com and your purchase of any piece from Olive & Muse ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

 

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is charged as set out in our Shipping Policy. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed. Payment is taken securely at checkout, which is provided by Shopify.

 

ORDERS

An order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order where stock has sold out, where a price or description was plainly wrong, or where we suspect fraud — and if we do, you will be refunded in full immediately.

 

PRODUCTS

We buy finished pieces in small numbers from wholesale showrooms in Paris. Colours are photographed as faithfully as we can, but screens vary. Sizing varies by piece — check the size range on each product page. We do not state fibre composition or country of origin unless it has been verified from the garment itself.

 

CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND FAULTS

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery and have a further 14 days to return it. Our own returns window is more generous — see the Returns Policy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a piece is faulty you may reject it within 30 days for a full refund. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

 

YOUR CONDUCT

You agree to provide accurate information when ordering and not to use the site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to reproduce its content (including photography) without permission.

 

LIABILITY

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or for business losses — the site is for consumers.

 

PRIVACY

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

 

CHANGES

We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.

 

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
